Document Submission Policy
Effective 2026-06-24
This policy explains where to send records, what not to send through public forms, and how document quality affects service timing.
Use secure channels
Do not send Social Security numbers, full bank account numbers, full card numbers, tax documents, payroll records, trust documents, identification documents, or other sensitive records through the public contact form. Use the secure portal, approved intake channel, or other method specifically provided by GHL Financial Services.
Public contact form limits
The public contact form is intended for general inquiries, scheduling context, service interest, and non-sensitive messages. It is not a secure document intake portal and should not be used for records that contain tax identification numbers, account numbers, confidential client files, or protected personal information.
Approved intake methods
When GHL Financial Services provides a client portal, secure upload link, TaxDome workflow, SharePoint folder, or another approved intake method, use that channel for documents and records. Follow the folder naming, file type, and deadline instructions provided for your engagement.
File quality
Submit clear, complete, readable files. Blurry images, partial screenshots, locked documents, missing pages, incomplete statements, duplicate files, or unlabeled uploads may delay review, preparation, bookkeeping, filing, or support work.
Authorization to submit
Do not upload documents for another person, entity, trust, or business unless you are authorized to do so. GHL Financial Services may decline, delete, segregate, or request clarification for documents that appear unrelated, unauthorized, unsafe, duplicative, or outside the accepted engagement scope.
Security and retention
GHL Financial Services uses reasonable safeguards and approved service providers to receive and manage client records. No transmission or storage method is perfectly secure. Records may be retained as needed for services, tax, accounting, legal, security, dispute, and business record obligations.
Contact
Questions about where or how to submit documents can be sent through the contact form, without attaching sensitive records.
